This year’s End of Year disco is being held in New Inn Community Centre on Friday May 5^th 2017.

This is a members-only disco, and will have leaders from all clubs attending to supervise on the buses and at the disco.

Details:    Bus will leave Loughrea from outside the Temperance Hall at 8:30 pm and return at approximately 12:30am.

Cost:-         €10 per person - €5 Entry and €5 towards the bus.

                     The club will subsidise the remainder of the cost

The consent form, plus €10 must be returned to the club on Fri 7^th of April if a member wishes to attend the disco.

The Hype Festival, run by the Foróige Longford Attic Youth Café, will be held at St. Mel’s College Longford on Saturday May 13^th 2017. This is a Foróige member-only event, with members from clubs and projects around the country attending. For more information see http://www.hypefestival.ie/.

Members have expressed great interest in Hype this year and we need to book tickets and buses. The cost of Hype is €30 and the bus will cost €15. This is €45 in total. We will need the money paid in full on return of the forms as we need to book tickets and pay for them in advance. Unfortunately there will be no refunds if a Member has to pull out.

The forms must be returned by Friday April 7^th in order to facilitate us ensuring a place at the festival. 

The Galway Reference Panel Members, in conjunction with the East Galway District Council, are hosting a ball for older Foróige members in the Radisson Blue Hotel Galway on Saturday April 1^st, 2017. The Ball this year will have a masquerade theme.

This is a members-only event for Foróige members doing Junior Cert this year, or having already completed their Junior cert, and will have leaders from all clubs attending to supervise on the buses and be at the ball. Dress Code is formal – i.e. tracksuits, jeans, etc. not acceptable – but it is not expected that members go to the expense of hiring suits or dresses.

Pickup of signed permission slips, and money for ticket & bus, will be done at the clubhouse on Friday 24^th March 2017. Also, please inform us of any dietary needs/restrictions.

Together with the St. Thomas’s Foróige Club, we are hosting this year’s Valentine’s disco. The disco will be at the Temperance Hall on Saturday February 11^th, and will run from 8:30pm-midnight.

This is a members-only disco, and will have leaders from all clubs attending to supervise.

Important: to facilitate the clubs coming on buses (around 9pm), we request that our members arrive a little early – 8:30pm – and that they will be the last to leave the hall – 12:30am. Please do not arrive for pickup before 12:30 as the street will be busy with buses, and the Loughrea members will not be allowed to leave the hall before the other clubs have left.

Details:    Gather at the clubhouse in Temperance Hall at 8:30 pm and exit at approximately 12:30am.

Cost:-         €5 per person - €5 Entry and no bus!

The Carrabane Foróige club is hosting this year’s Christmas disco in Gort Community Centre on Friday December 9^th, 2016.

The Athenry & Newcastle Foróige clubs are together hosting this year’s End-of-year disco in Gort Community Centre on Friday May 6^th, 2016. The permission form is attached below.
