This is a quick letter to inform you of some upcoming events for the end of this year.

First, our Third-year members have been invited to an Older Members’ Ball (Jackets & ties, gowns) at the Raheen Woods in Athenry on Friday 24^th April. This will involve a sit-down meal and dancing with older members (3^rd year+) from clubs around the county. More details coming up…

Second, on Friday May 8^th (date to be confirmed) is the Foróige End of Year Disco, hosted by the East Galway Foroige District Council. This will cost €10 per member, due Friday May 1^st, for entry and the bus.

Third, on May 16^th, in Longford, the Hype Festival is taking place, and the club will have members going. The Festival itself runs from 4pm-11pm and has live music, a disco tent, and other activities. Some of the Bands that will be playing are Raglans, Wyvern Lingo, Hogan, Taken and some bands from clubs around the country. In addition, Fergal Darcy will also DJ on the main stage at the Festival. For a lot more information, please see the website: http://www.hypefestival.ie . Note that No food or drink (even water) can be brought to into Hype and no drinks on the bus. We’ll have water on the bus.

The tickets for Hype are €30, and the club will subsidise the cost of the bus down to €10, so the total cost per member will be €40. We need to purchase the tickets before March 28^th, so we will need a non-refundable deposit of €20 on Friday March 27^th. The remaining €20 needs to be paid on or before May 1st.
