Dear members, parents and guardians,

This is a quick letter to inform you of some upcoming music events this year.

First, on April 24^th, in Longford, the Hype Festival is taking place, and the club will have members going. The Festival itself runs from 4pm-11pm and has live music, a disco tent, and other activities. Some of the Bands that will be playing are The Heathers, Raglan, Knights of Leon, Fresh Ré, White Chalk and some bands from clubs around the country. In addition to some Foróige member DJs, Fergal Darcy will also be at the Festival. For a lot more information, please see the website: http://www.hypefestival.ie . Note that No food or drink (even water) can be brought to into Hype

The tickets for Hype are €30, and the club will subsidise the cost of the bus down to €10, so the total cost per member will be €40. We need to purchase the tickets before March 28^th, so we will need a non-refundable deposit of €20 on Friday March 21^st. The remaining €20 needs to be paid over the following 2 weeks – on or before April 11^th.

If any parents or guardians want to come along and assist the leaders, please let one of the leaders know at club – we always appreciate extra help.

 Second, on Friday May 9^th is the Foróige End of Year Disco, hosted by the East Galway Foroige District Council. This year, the disco is something different – there will be two DJs - Fergal D’Arcy (iRadio) and Glen Scanlon (DJ Trolley) – and it will be a silent disco, both DJs playing at once – everyone will have a pair of headphones and can select which DJ to listen to. This will be on Friday May 9^th, and will cost €10 per member, due Friday May 2^nd, for entry and the bus.

 Reminder: If you lose a form, or need a new copy, you can always find it on the website (foroigeloughrea.org) and print out another copy. Don’t have a printer? - Just pop down to the library, and Ann or one of the other librarians will help you.
